Battery Assembly
We have bought 240 Headway 38120HP battery’s from China. We have used 228 cells, in configuration 76 in series and 3 in parallel. All the cells have been charged, measured, numbered and paired in groups of three. The cells have to be connected to a interconnect plate at the bottom and at the top. For each two groups of tree cells, a BMS board have to be connected as well. They are double cell balance boards.
When the connections are made we have to be extra careful to not getting electric shock or to make a short circuit. The maximum voltage is about 260 VDC and can easily kill a man. A short circuit will pull about 2000 A which can make an electric arc, and destroy the cells.
